Fashion Police...

I know I am late ...but I have never taken the opportunity to watch Fashion Police.
Ahhh but yesterday night I couldn't find anything to watch and there it was as I was switching channels.
Whitney from the MTV show "The Hills", was their guest star to appear and I fell in love with the show. It is super hilarious and I learned from the show about what celebrities dare to wear, do's and donts'. Did I know Joan Rivers is ridiculously funny? not at all. The show also shows off the many personalities of other stars that come to visit  on the set. No scripts. Nada. I also love Guiliana, I couldn't touch the remote. I was glued to the tv, I'll be tuning in more and more.

XOXO,
Hazelin

I am going to New York City!

On July 31st, 2012 I will be entering New York City with a Sex and the City state of mind.
It's been about nine years since I've seen times square or rode the subway and man O' man am I excited. I have set up an itinerary of what to see and where to go. I'm fascinated with city life and this will become part 2 of my photography adventure. If I am lucky enough I will see a few celebrities. I'm ready to see the Brooklyn bridge, the huge billboards, crowded streets, music on every corner, and the cruise I signed up for with friends. I've wanting to see the place I plan to call home for the last few years just never had the chance or the right people to tag along with me. I am so ready to take on NYC!

The person behind the blog...

How to become a successful blogger..

Well I've done my fair share of research...I look up to a few people such as Necolebitchie.com, Perezhilton.com, other sites such as rap-up.com. I've learned that if I want to make money I need to use blogging as if it is my job and work a 9-5 on this page in order to get my start. I can already see I am going to be spending long hours and doing more research in order to become a resourceful site that everyone wants to visit. Any tips out there?

XOXO,

I was using Psychology as a safety net...

Hi everyone,

Ok, so basically the reason why I wanted to discuss this topic is because for many of us college students choosing ONE major is HARD. I am in this crazy situation of changing my major and this is coming from a person that doesn't like change too much. Well something I've noticed at school is that we as students use certain majors as a safety net. For example, I can use myself I am a rising junior and I chose psychology as a major just because I took a class on it in high school. As I have grown older I still really do LIKE psychology and I am very good at reading people but....I have been passionate about blogging and writing since freshman year  in high school. I am now having a change of heart. My school is expensive yes, and the economy sucks like hell but my recent experiences have led me away from using my safety net and taking a risk for what I actually want to do for the rest of my life. I love to plan my life and If I can plan it well enough to stay in the areas where I know I have a better opportunity of a job thats a risk i am willing to take. But I am selling myself short PLAYING IT SAFE.

I quit T.G.I Fridays

Its summer vacation and I am back in Largo, Maryland , others refer to as the "DMV". As I've mentioned in my previous post I am currently attending Clark Atlanta University located in Atlanta, Georgia. For some who are not aware Atlanta is in its prime right now an upcoming city attracting plenty of tourist and businesses especially in the media.

Anyway, I am back at home in my parents house and one of my goals for this summer was to hopefully land a summer job.Well, that is exactly what I did early June of 2012 but unfortunately with lack of communication I ultimately end up quitting literally a month later. I think I've come to far in my life, being in college and getting more experience from some what of a real world I could not let myself go back to a job that treated their employees with little to no respect. I dont know what it was about T.G.I fridays but it was an eye opener of what not to do. Don't drop out of school and truly find your passion.I think thats why I am here now.

I go to a very expensive university (34,000$ per year) and I need to advantage of the opportunities that I am ever so fortunate to land. That is what has brought me here. I have a tumblr that I am addicted to and a twitter that reminds me to tweet my heart out till my fingers are numb. I'm not sure if it is cause of the generation I am in but I could spend hours on the computer for free ...so why not get paid to do so?

Today I made the decision to change my major...

Since High school I have always been passionate about writing, journalism, social media, and overall, communication. I am going into my junior year at Clark Atlanta University and my major is Psychology. Well today I decided to go with my gut feeling to follow my dreams, instead of playing it safe. I'm changing my major to mass communications with a concentration in public relations. After listing the pros and cons of my decision, as all viewers can see I started blogging again. Good Luck to me right!

As of now I am working to get my blogger profile set up so at this point it is under construction but I am working on some great ideas and I am so far dedicated to gaining viewers and taking in submissions that you would like to be featured on my page. Thank you for reading.
